Unigear touchscreen gloves review: for checking your phone at the stoplight
Thin, grippy gloves you don't have to take off to answer a message.
Unigear touchscreen gloves
4.3 out of 5 from more than 14,000 ratings on Amazon.nl.
Why touchscreen gloves
If you navigate with your phone or answer messages on the way, taking gloves off every time gets old fast. These have touchscreen material on the thumb and index finger.
What they're like
They're thin and stretchy with a silicone grip pattern on the palm, which helps on handlebars. Use the seller's size chart; people who guess often order the wrong size.
The downsides
They're thin. On a frosty morning your fingers will still get cold. Think autumn and mild winter, or wear them under a thicker pair.
Good
- Phone works with gloves on
- Grippy palm
- More than 14,000 ratings
Not so good
- Too thin for freezing days
- Sizing needs care
My short video about it (also on TikTok and Instagram).
How I put this together: "Researched pick" means I haven't put it through long-term use myself. I've gone through the product specifications and a large number of buyer reviews, and I compared it with similar products. When I've used something myself, the page says so. Nobody paid for this review. More on how I earn money.
